Lower Ahobilam vs Upper Ahobilam

The temple town is divided into two parts:

• Lower Ahobilam: Plain area, houses the main Prahlada Varada Narasimha temple and Sudarshan Complex.
• Upper Ahobilam: 8 km uphill journey by road/trekking. Contains the main Ugra Narasimha cave.

Trekking Guide

To visit Jwala Narasimha and Pavana Narasimha, a trek is required. We can arrange local jeeps (Sumo/Bolero) for you upon request at the reception.
